Ok this will be the LAST version to come out for The Lost Skull. The movie still doesn’t have any voice at all, for some reasons it wouldn’t let us render it with the sound in Ulead studio11, so we did what we could to make the movie really enjoyable. We re-added all the music and the Sound effects for the light sabers and powers and everything. so t should be more enjoyable to watch. there are also the English subtitles.

ok, for some really annoying reasons, the sound won’t even work when we try to re-add it to the movie. We have no idea what or why it’s doing this, probably a corrupted file. Anyways there will be an update of the movie with music and sound effects. that’s all we can get so it’s all there will be.

On other news, we are working on our BIGGEST project yet! Contamination, is the title. it will be a 30-45 min film. So we kind of doubled our movie length from the previous one ( which has no sound “angry face”) we will release a sneak peak of the script on the 20th of September. so make sure you stay tuned .
we hope to start the movie when the next school term starts. so we’ll keep you updated as soon as new news come around.

The Lost Skull: important update #2

After a few hours of thinking about how the audio track was deleted and what we could do to get it back we came up with two different ideas. The first one was to record our voices in a studio and then add it to the movie. We did that, and it sounded horrible. The second idea, took us a while to come up with but it was the brightest yet. The option was to import the original WMM version of the lost skull. So we first extracted all the music and added it to the finished version. Then we came back to the WMM version and extracted all the original audio track. that took us a while to do.

So then we imported the finished version of the lost skull with the music and we imported the audio track. We did this procedure in Ulead Studio because it’s the only software we have that allows two audio / sound track at a time without overlaying each other and making it sound ugly.

Unfortunately, it will take us a few days to add the audio track to the movie. You’re probably wondering why it would take us a few days while it should only take a few hours. that’s because, we,the D.A Studio team, are still in school, and we need to keep up with our homework etc…
but don’t worry once the audio track has been carefully added to the movie we will upload to Youtube.com

If you’re asking your self, why we’re not uploading the WMM version, it because the WMM version does not have any special effects. and after nine month of working on The Lost Skull’s special effects we don’t wish to start all over again .

Anyways, we will upload the movie as soon as it finishes. We will also add a new post informing you of the link to the video, or you can straight away go to our Youtube.com channel. The link to our channel is located in the “New Film” page.

The Lost Skull : important update

Guys bad news, The Lost Skull has finally finished rendering but when i imported it into Ulead Studio to add all the sound effects, it seemed that the movie has been separated from it’s audio track. As you can imagine when we had the “pleasure” of finding that out, we were pretty pissed. The D.A Studio team is doing it’s best to find out what went wrong so we are rendering the movie again in other ways but the chances of having the movie with it’s original audio track are very low. We think it happened when the team bought a more advanced computer some files such as the audio track must of been corrupted in the computer transfer. but hey if we don’t have the movie with the audio you can still watch it with all the special effects.
We are just as disappointed as you guys are but there’s nothing we can do. sorry
On the other hand we are starting a new movie with less special effects but just as great and don’t worry this times we’ll make sure the audio stays with the movie.

People!!!

The news we have all been waiting for, for months, has finally arrived. Yes, D.A Studio’s action packed movies filled with mind blowing special effects has been finished and is now being rendered. this will take about 3 hours and then another 4 hours for it to be uploaded onto youtube and another 2 minutes for the movie to be added to our website.

over 9 months of work, with 2 month break, D.A Studio has finally finished the movie. it has over 54700 frames

the movie is in fench since the actores came to Australia for a 2 month holyday but didn’t speak the language, so it had to be shot in french. BUT, do not worry, we have added english subtitles so you can understand everything.

good news, since D.A Studio is a new studio we do all sorts of movies / animation. and we have just finished a new animation that goes for only 30 seconds but it took over 500 photos. so we’re pretty about it since it looks good.

Hey people, i dont know if you’ve noticed but we have added a screenshot page. From now on, you’ll be able to check out behind the set photos, live action ON the set, photos from the team working with the special effects and more!!!! we have recently updated 4 photos of the up coming movie “The Lost Skull” we took some of the best shots so far. so go check it out guys. Btw, The Lost Skull should be coming out next month.

Welcome!

i hope u guys are as exited as i am. This is D.A Studio’s first post on the opening of our website.
